The Fiat Tipo Still Remains The Cheapest Sedan In Europe
While most manufacturers are abandoning classic sedans and shifting their focus to more expensive SUV models, Fiat still offers one of the last affordable family sedans on the European market – the Tipo Sedan.
According to the current offer, the Fiat Tipo Sedan in the Czech Republic is currently available at a promotional price of 17,829 euros.
On the other hand, the Italian sedan in Spain is available at a price of 17,969 euros; the Italians offer it at prices between 17,900 and 18,500 euros, depending on the showroom and promotions, while the Slovaks sell it from a central warehouse at prices ranging between 18,800 and 19,100 euros.
This Tipo currently ranks among the cheapest new C-segment sedans in Europe. What is particularly interesting is not about the gas station. The offer is valid for limited stocks and applies to the diesel version with a 1.6 Multijet engine of 130 HP and a six-speed manual gearbox.
Although it is not the most technologically advanced model in its class, Tipo plays the card of rational purchase. Buyers get a car with a length of 4.53 meters, a large trunk of 520 liters and a proven diesel engine with an average consumption of around 4.7 l/100 km.
The European market is suffering from the disappearance of models like the Dacia Logan, so the space has opened for Fiat to practically remain without direct competition among cheap sedans in Europe. It is also interesting that the Fiat Tipo Sedan is produced in Turkey, where it is sold under the name Egea.
Many buyers point out precisely the relationship between the price and what the car offers. Users report that the Tipo is simple, proven and cheap to maintain, and that the 1.6 diesel engine has proven to be very reliable over the years.
Considering the constant increase in the prices of new cars and the announced stricter Euro 7 norm at the end of the year, this is probably the last chance for a classic model with an even classic turbodiesel.
