Arewa Garage Designs’ latest project specially created for a customer is a blackout, customized Nissan Pathfinder SUV that looks like one of several fictional Batmobile rides driven by superhero, Batman.
While the 3rd-generation SUV has received interior upgrades, including a front and rear-passenger multi-media touch-screens, the most impressive and stand out features is no doubt the head-turning Lamborghini doors.
Instead of opening outward like regular car doors, the Nissan Pathfinder’s Lamborghini doors opens upward by rotating vertically at a fixed hinge at the front of the door, much like scissor blades.
In addition to its distinct, unmistakably powerful looks, this special type of door, also known as scissors doors, helps with parking issues as well as reduction in dooring hazard to cyclists.
The Lamborghini Countach was the first production car to incorporate scissor doors. LP500’s scissor doors were a prominent feature carried over to the production Countach as well as many subsequent Lamborghini models.
