UK Driver Crashes New Ferrari 488 GTB Few Minutes After Buying It
A Derby driver in UK crashes new Ferrari 488 GTB sports car just few minutes after buying it.
Police said the driver had only driven for less than 2 miles before the accident happened.
The accident crumpled the front bumper and hood, and damaged the headlights.
A driver who treated himself to a new Ferrari 488 GTB on the morning of April 1st (today) crashed the Prancing Horse after driving it for less than a few minutes after purchase.
According to a tweet by Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit, the driver had only driven the Ferrari 488 GTB for less than 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) before the accident happened.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the crash, but the same cannot be said for the luxury sports car which sustained major damage in the crash in St Alkmund’s Way, Derby.
Two pictures shared by the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit shows a crumpled front bumper and hood, as well as damaged headlights. The department said that the damaged car was moved off the road and the driver arranged the car recovery.
The Ferrari 488, reportedly a 2017 model, had amassed just 13,400 miles (21,565km) from new and was previously owned by two different people.
Finished in Rosso Corsa, the 488 is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 engine, which can propel the 669-horsepower Ferrari from zero-to-60-mph in 3 second time and to a top speed of 205 miles per hour (330 km/h).
