Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, during his official visit to the oil-rich kingdom on Thursday December 8th, 2022.

The reception came after China and Saudi Arabia signed 34 energy and investment deals as Xi vowed to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership with Riyadh.

The total value of the 34 deals was not revealed, but it was reported earlier that the two countries had aimed to sign 20 preliminary agreements worth US$29.26 billion.
