Youths Stopped Thugs From Setting Dino Melaye’s House And Cars Ablaze

Youths reportedly stopped “government thugs” from setting Senator Dino Melaye’s house and his luxury cars ablaze.

Melaye alleged that a top politician sent the thugs to destroy his house.

Dino Melaye’s car collection is one of the biggest in the country. His classic and supercar collection is worth over ₦3 billion.

Dino Melaye on Tuesday said that his people rallied around him to save his house in his home town, Aiyetoro-Gbede, from being burnt by hired thugs.

According to the Senator who represented Kogi West in the 8th National Assembly, the thugs were sighted at Obajana junction in 15 buses and armed with weapons.

In his tweets, he said :

“Community efforts stop hoodlums from attacking my house in Aiyetoro Gbede. I thank Okun Youths and Women”

“Security Agencies did well too. Above all I thank God Almighty. SDM”

Melaye alleged that a top politician sent the thugs to destroy his house. He had ealier tweeted that the loaded thugs had left Government House, Lokoja, and now on their way to my house in Aiyetoro Gbede.

“Loaded thugs left Government House, Lokoja, now on their way to my house in Aiyetoro Gbede.

“Their mission is to destroy the house.”

Melaya confirmed to reporters that the youths had to relocate to his house to prevent the thugs from perpetrating any evil action.

He said :

“My people moved into my house the moment they heard of the evil plans of the thugs to safeguard the place.

“The thugs had to turn back when they probably heard that my people were battle ready for them.”

If the alleged hoodlums had succeeded in looting and burning Melaye’s house, the popular petrol head would have lost his multi-billion Naira car collections.

Dino Melaye’s car collection is one of the biggest in the country. Cars in his garage includes bulletproof Mercedes G-Wagon limousine and armoured Toyota Land Cruiser.

He also boasts of Lamborghini Aventador; Ferrari California; Lamborghini Gallardo; McLaren MP4-12C; Bentley Mulsanne; bulletproof Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and several Rolls-Royces.
