2020 Velar VS 2020 Evoque, See The Differences Between The Two Range Rover SUVs

The two tech-filled Range Rover SUVs comes equipped with similar features such as the all-wheel drive system, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera system, parking sensors in the front and rear, optional 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot ,rear-seat tablet holders with ports for charging, climate control, massaging seats, satellite radio just to mention a few





In addition to the above features, the redesigned 2020 Evoque comes with world-first “ClearSight Ground View” tech (basically a transparent bonnet) that guides the driver when parking in tight spaces and tackling rough terrain .

The infotainment system in the 2019 Range Rover Velar is equipped with two 10-inch HD touchscreens and a Touch Pro Duo system while the 2020 Range Rover Evoque has two 10-inch touchscreen and a Touch or Touch Pro Duo system.





Upholstery:
The seats in a base Range-Rover Velar are upholstered with Luxtec and suede-cloth materials while the seats in the Range Rover Evoque are upholstered with grained leather.

Base Engine:
The Velar’s numerous engine options includes the standard 2.0L 16v i4 turbocharged engine that delivers 246hp. The top of the range 542 hp SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition comes with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that gives a top speed of 170 mph and a 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

The Evoque’s numerous engine options includes the base 2.4L four-cylinder Si4 engine that delivers 237 horsepower. The mild hybrid version uses the same engine, but the 48V lithium-ion battery raises the output to 296 horsepower .

Towing Capacity:
The Velar has a maximum towing capacity of 5,500 pounds while the Evoque will pull 3,968 pounds of load.

Wading Depth:
The Velar can drive through 25.5 inches while the redesigned 2020 Evoque has 23.6 inches wading depth. The old model could only wade through 19.7 inches of water.

Prices before shipping
Prices range from ₦18.3m ($50,595) for the base Evoque SE to ₦27.1m ($74,995) for the R-Dynamic HSE . The new range-topping Autobiography Dynamic Edition starts at ₦40.2m ($111,347).

The 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque in the SE trim starts at ₦15.5 ($42,795) while the Autobiography trim starts at ₦23m ($63,595).
