3 new Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans begins 9-months trans-continental journey to celebrate “140 Years of Innovation”.
During the global drive, the S-Class convoy will visit symbolic 140 locations, “from legendary routes to megacities.
The journey will see the new S-Class drive across Europe, South America, North America, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
The new S-Class convoy will be joined by classic vehicles, current production models and local fleet cars.


Last week, Mercedes-Benz debuted the new flagship S-Class ultra-luxury sedan as part of activities to celebrate 140 years since Carl Benz’s invented the automobile in 1886.
Following the reveal on 29 January 2026, three (3) new S-Classes set off on a global drive spanning more than 50,000-km (31,068 miles) across six continents to celebrate “140 Years of Innovation” with customers and fans across the world.

During the global drive, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class convoy will visit symbolic 140 locations, “from legendary routes – such as the Route 66 to megacities like Buenos Aires (Brazil), Shanghai (China) and Sydney (Australia).
The 9 month-long journey dubbed “140 Years. 140 Places” will see the new S-Class drive across Europe, South America, North America, Australia, Asia, and Africa – every continent where Mercedes‑Benz has left its mark.


Before the global drive ends in Stuttgart in October 2026 – where the Mercedes-Benz story began, the new S-Class will be joined by classic vehicles, current production models and local fleet cars, creating unique encounters at every checkpoint.
