German automaker Mercedes has unveiled the stylish all-new 2021 E-Class Coupe and E-Class Cabriolet.
Both models comes with more refined styling, high-tech interior, and a more expanded electrified powertrain options.
On the outside, the E-Class spots a new “A-shaped” grille inspired by AMG models. It comes as standard with a single louvre and a central Mercedes star.
Other upgrades includes an all-LED headlamps and a LED taillights that now match the Mercedes CLA’s design. An aerodynamic wheel designs are also available to help reduce fuel consumption.
Four exterior paint, colors available includes the Cirrus Silver Metallic; Graphite Grey Metallic; Mojave Silver Metallic; and designo Patagonia Red Metallic.
Inside, it comes with new steering wheel with touch capacitive controls (and rim sensors), two 12. 3-inch screens, blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats with memory settings, and MBUX infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The AIRSCARF (neck heater) and AIRCAP (electric wind deflector) are carryover features that are standard equipment for the Cabriolet.
Powering the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet is a six-cylinder engine. It is paired with a starter generator and a 48-volt system.
This setup produces 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. An available EQ Boost provides an extra 21 hp and 184 lb-ft for a short time.
The engine produces 429 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque in the high-performance Mercedes-AMG E 53 models.
Pricing will be announced before the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet go on sale by late 2020.
