2022 Lexus LX 600 F SPORT and Japan-only LX 600 Offroad, first look at two performance-orientated luxury version of Land Cruiser LC 300.

The LX 600 Offroad for Japanese market features a black plastic cladding on the fenders and a different grille treatment.

The main mechanical difference between the LX Offroad and the other trims is the model’s three locking differentials.

By comparison, the standard, Premium, Luxury, Ultra Luxury and the F Sport, gets only a rear Torsen limited-slip differential.

The fourth-generation 2022 Lexus LX 600 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) debuted on Wednesday as a more luxury version of the all-new 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser LC 300 Series truck.

The Lexus LX 600 is based off the TNGA-F platform that underpins the Land Cruiser. It comes in five uniquely exceptional models, including a first-ever Lexus LX 600 F SPORT trim designed for offroading adventures. Other model grades include the standard, Premium, Luxury and the Ultra Luxury.

Unlike the other trims with spindle grille, consisting of horizontal bars with hollow centre, the F Sport gets a F mesh design spindle grille with a black frame for a more aggressive and sportier vibe.

The F Sports comes with a sport seats and a sports steering wheel. Others are a unique performance suspension, a rear stabilizer, and a Torsen limited-slip differential to offer sharper handling.

Japan-only LX 600 Offroad

In addition to the LX 600 F SPORT, Toyota’s luxury division also debuted a special version of the luxury SUV dubbed the LX 600 Offroad that is exclusive to the Japanese market.

The performance-orientated LX 600 Offroad features a black plastic cladding on the fenders and a different grille treatment as well as an 18-inch wheel, instead of the large 22-inch on the other trims. It also gets a unique set of tyres to enhance its ability to tackle tough terrain.

The main mechanical difference between the LX Offroad and the other trims is the model’s three locking differentials : one in the front, one in the center, and one in the rear. By comparison, the other models get only a rear Torsen limited-slip differential.

Apart from the differences stated above, all the LX600 models comes with the same four-wheel-drive system and twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine that are shared with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series.
