Genesis GV60 Wins “2024 China SUV Of The Year” Award, Beats More Than 80 Competing Models

Genesis GV60 all-electric SUV wins “2024 China SUV Of The Year” award, beating out more than 80 competing models.
Latest award joins other awards won by GV60, including German Premium Car of the Year 2023 and Swiss Car of the Year 2023.
It is equipped with a 77.4 kWh lithium battery, which allows a range of up to 691 kilometers on a single charge.
GV60 is available in Luxury and Ultimate Luxury variants in China. It is available as Premium, Sport and Sport Plus in some markets.
The all-electric Genesis GV60 has been awarded “2024 China SUV of the Year” at the China Car of the Year Awards, beating out more than 80 competing models, including a number of homegrown electric brands.
The GV60 has already won numerous awards around the world, including the German Premium Car of the Year 2023, Swiss Car of the Year 2023, and the Best Electric SUV at the 2023 What Car? Awards in the UK.
“As an outstanding luxury electric SUV, the Genesis GV60 has won numerous awards in markets around the world since its launch,” said Wells Lee, CEO of Genesis Motor China.
“Today’s China Car of the Year award proves that the GV60’s achievements in design, performance and technology have also been fully recognised by the Chinese market and industry experts.”
The Genesis GV60 is the brand’s first all-electric car based on the E-GMP (Electric-Globular Modular Platform). It is packed with features like Digital Key 2, which provides a truly keyless experience, as well as a powerful biometric recognition systems.
GV60 is equipped with a powerful 77.4 kWh lithium battery, allowing an exceptional range of up to 691 kilometers on a single charge. It is capable of being charged at up to 360KW, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes.
Genesis GV60 is available in two versions in the world’s largest EV market. The Luxury variant starts at ¥ 286,800 ($40,000), while the Ultimate Luxury costs ¥ 352,800 ($49,200). It is also available as Premium, Sport and Sport Plus in some markets.
