First Time Buyers Of The Kia EV9 To Get Free Charging

Those who purchase a 2024 Kia EV9 in the US for the first time will get 1,000 kWh of free charging in Electrify America’s network, the two companies have announced.
You can use your 1,000 kWh free allowance at any of the over 3,000 Electrify America charging stations across the country through the Electrify America app, which can be used for payment, locating stations, and checking the status of chargers. This benefit can’t be used if you initiate charging using the interface screen or buttons on the charger.
Also, note that the benefit doesn’t include any idle fees or applicable taxes assessed at the charging station. When you reach 1,000 kWh, your car won’t stop charging; it will continue to charge at the prevailing Electrify America rate at that moment.
You will have three years from the date of purchase of your EV9 to use up the allowance. There is no limit on the number of eligible charging sessions or the kWh of charging available in each session. The EV9 is the third Kia model to benefit from this promotion, following in the footsteps of the Niro and the EV6.
