Porsche Delivered 155,945 Sports Cars To Customers Worldwide Between January And June 2024
Porsche AG delivered 155,945 sports cars to customers worldwide between January and June 2024 (-7%).
In Europe (excluding Germany), it delivered 38,611 cars (+6%) and a total of 20,811 units (+22%) in the home market.
In China, Porsche delivered 29,551 vehicles (-33%), while North America customers saw 39,558 (-6%) vehicles.
Cayenne recorded the most deliveries with 54,587 units (+16 percent), followed by Macan with 39,167 units (-18%).
28,212 units of 911 were delivered (+8%), 13,255 (-25%) customers got Panamera, while Taycan went to 8,838 (-51%) customers.
Porsche AG said it maintained stable sales in the first half of 2024 after handling a total of 155,945 vehicles to customers worldwide between January and June 2024 – which is a decrease of seven percent compared to the 167,354 cars in the first six months of 2023.
The Stuttgart sports car manufacturer said the declined in the first half of the year was due to the current update of five of its six model series, including the Cayenne, Panamera, Macan, Taycan and 911, which affected sales in some markets.
“With the most powerful model range in the company’s history, we are sending out a clear signal,” says Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.
“Our customers can rely on us. Even in a globally challenging market environment, we deliver inspiring sports cars with unique performance, many innovations and a high degree of individualization.

In China, Porsche delivered 29,551 vehicles between January to June (decrease of 33 percent), while 39,558 vehicles were delivered to customers in the North America (a decrease of six percent).
In the overseas and emerging markets, Porsche handed over 27,414 vehicles to customers between January to June 2024, a decrease of six percent compared to 27,893 cars in the first half of 2024.
With 54,587 units, the Cayenne recorded the most deliveries in the first half of the year (+16 percent), followed by Macan with 39,167 units (-18 percent), the latter due to the model changeover in many markets.
28,212 units of the iconic 911 were delivered worldwide (+8 percent), 13,255 (-25 percent) customers got Panamera, while Taycan went to 8,838 (-51 percent) customers in the first half of the year. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman models achieved 11,886 deliveries (8 percent).
