Separated by 80 years : Soviet-built 1940s ZIS-110 limo cruising alongside 2024 Russian-made Aurus Senat limousine.
ZIS-110, a Soviet limousine from ZIL introduced in 1946, inspired the design of the the premium Aurus Senat Limousine.
110 itself was developed from the reverse engineering of an American-built 1942 Packard Super Eight during 1944.
The ZIS-110 was made in both 4-door sedan (ZIS-110) and 4-door convertible (ZIS-110B) versions.

The ZIS-110, a Soviet limousine from ZIL introduced in 1946, no doubt served as a source of inspiration for FGUP “NAMI” while designing the premium Aurus Senat limousine.

The 110 itself was developed from the reverse engineering of an American-built 1942 Packard Super Eight during 1944. It was made in both 4-door sedan (ZIS-110) and 4-door convertible (ZIS-110B) versions.
ZIL also built the ZIS-115, which is an armored version of the ZIS-110 limousine designed and built specially for Joseph Stalin – 32 of which were manufactured between 1948 and 1949.

ZIS-110 was powered by a 6-litre, straight 8-cylinder engine, producing 140 hp (104 kW) and giving a top speed of over 140 km/h (87 mph). Senat is powered by a hybrid powertrain with a 4.4-liter V-8 delivering 598 horsepower while the electric motor adds 40 hp.
While Moscow-based ZiL (Zavod Imeni Likhachyova) built the ZIS-110, Aurus, known for producing the official Russian presidential car, is responsible for the production of all Aurus-branded models, including the L700 limousine.
