Peugeot’s new Concept 6 and Concept 8 previews upcoming future sedan and SUV models.
Production models of the two concept cars will be produced by Peugeot’s Chinese partner, Dongfeng, starting next year.
Peugeot said that the models will be produced in China for China as well as for export to Peugeot’s overseas markets.

Peugeot, in partnership with its Chinese partner, Dongfeng, has unveiled Concept 6 and Concept 8 at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show (Auto China), offering a bold and tangible glimpse into the French automaker’s future.
The Concept 6, which previews a new generation of large Peugeot sedans, “merges the elegance of a sedan with the dynamism of a shooting brake,” while the Concept 8 previews the future of Peugeot’s large SUVs.

“China is a major driver of our global transformation, particularly in electrification, innovation and brand elevation,” said Alain Favey, CEO Peugeot.
“Today we are showcasing two new concept cars which demonstrate our vision for a bold new future for the brand, combining feline French design and driving pleasure with world-leading electric and intelligent technologies, for China and for our global market.”


The production models of the two futuristic concept cars will be produced by Peugeot’s Chinese partner, Dongfeng, at its Wuhan plant, starting next year. Peugeot said that the models will be produced in China for China as well as for export to Peugeot’s overseas markets.
The unveiling of the Concept 6 and Concept 8 follows the debut of the Polygon Concept last year. Also on display at the 2026 Auto China, the 3-door Polygon hatchback previews multiple technologies that Peugeot will adopt starting from 2027, including Hypersquare steering wheel and steer-by-wire technology.
