Bugatti Takes ₦2.1b Divo Hypercar To The Desert For A Hot Weather Testing

French supercar maker, Bugatti , has taken to its instagram page to show the images of the Divo Hypercar being exposed to extreme testing conditions in the middle of the desert.
During the recent round of testings, Bugatti says the Divo has been pushed to speeds of 155 mph in areas exceeding 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) with development engineer Julia Lemke behind the wheel.
The Chiron-based Hypercar was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California last year. Like the Chiron, it is powered by a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 pumping out 1479 hp and 1180 lb-ft (1600 Nm) of torque.
While the engine remains untouched, the Bugatti Divo was specially made for corners while the Chiron is made for straight-lines. Click here to see the Side-by-side photo comparison between the Bugatti Chiron and the Divo
Production of the $5.8m (₦2.1b Naira) Bugatti Divo is limited to 40 units, and all examples have been spoken for.
