FCDA Demolishes Mechanic Workshop Owned By A Woman In Abuja

An unfortunate event happened some days back when the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) demolishes a mechanic workshop owned by a female automobile engineer. The lady is Joyce Daser Adams the CEO of Autolady Synergy Company Ltd and owner Autolady Garage based in Abuja.

A team of VIO (Vehicle Inspection Office), NSCDC (Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps) and other security agents stormed the place. They demolished the mechanic workshop right in front of her eyes as she shed tears and she watched.
Joyce is very popular as she offers state of the art services.  She trains aspiring female mechanics free of charge and has been interviewed in many shows. She has, so far, trained over 50 women who are now in various parts of Abuja, doing the same thing she has trained them for.

Joyce is a Mechanical Engineer by profession. She bagged her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi State, in 2010. Her first encounter with automobile space was when she finished her OND at Plateau State Polytechnic. She worked then with the Transport ‘B’ Department of Nigeria Police Force Headquarters (NPF) Abuja, under the auspices of Industrial Training Fund. This exposure was further enhanced during her one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Her primary assignment was with an automobile company known as Daneland Automobile in Sagamu, Ogun State.
