FRSC Begins Alcohol Level Test On Drivers In Lagos State (Video).

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has begun testing the alcohol levels of drivers in Lagos State. With this test, FRSC can determine the level of alcohol in a driver’s body with the air they breathe out.
The alcohol test exercise which commenced on Saturday is part of efforts to ensure the safety of commuters along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The exercise will continue until January 19, 2o20.
Motorists suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol, or motorists found committing traffic offense, may be required to take this test.

FRSC is the Government Agency with statutory responsibilities for road safety administration in Nigeria. Their vision is to eradicate road traffic crashes and create safe motoring environment in Nigeria. Members of the Commission shall have power to arrest and prosecute persons reasonably suspected of having committed any traffic offense.
