Dashing joins Nigeria-assembled models like the Changan CS55 (2024), Honda HR-V (2023) and GAC GS4 (2022) as recipients of the coveted award.

The Jetour Dashing has been voted as the Nigerian Car-Of-The-Year at this year’s 2025 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) awards held on December 16th at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos.
The stylish Jetour Dashing compact crossover SUV defeated the Changan CS55 – the winner of the 2024-edition – and the Chery Tiggo 8 to win the prestigious automotive award held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

With this accolade, the Chinese-built Jetour Dashing joins Nigeria-assembled models like the Changan CS55 (2024), Honda HR-V Crossover SUV (2023), Hyundai Creta SUV (2021) and GAC GS4 SUV (2022) as recipients of the coveted award.


First unveiled to the lucrative Nigerian market in 2024, the tech-focused Dashing Crossover SUV seamlessly blends luxury and advanced technology with off-road capabilities.
The stylish exterior of the Dashing features LED headlights and taillights, a large multi-level slatted front grille, flush door handles and a smart entry with a unique cube key fob and a large 20-inch alloy wheels.


Inside, the 5-seater features an 8-inch LCD screen, a head-up display (HUD), a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a wireless charging pad on the center console, and a Level 2+ driving assistance functions with cruise control and lane change capabilities.
The Dashing is available in both petrol and PHEV plug-in hybrid versions, with the former fitted with either 1.5-litre or a 1.6-litre turbo engine, while the PHEV version equipped with a 1.5-litre turbo engine features a pure electric cruising range of 100 km (62 miles).
