Nigerian Fashion Mogul, Mudi, Adds A Convertible Volkswagen Beetle To His Vintage Car Collection (PHOTOS)
Clement Mudiaga popularly known as Mudi, is the CEO of MUDI Africa.
MUDI Africa ,which was started in 1993, is one of Africa’s top fashioner designers and authentic clothing line.
Mudi is the first Nigerian designer to take his designs outside the shores of this country. Today, the business runs chains of stores in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, south African and other parts of the world.
Mudi has an elite clientele that include The King of Morocco, former Kenyan Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, John Kufuor (Former President of Ghana),etc.
His other notable patrons include Salif Keita, Youssou N’Dour, John Obi Mikel, Kolo Toure, John Fashanu , Richard Mofe-Damijo, Fred Amata, Basorge Tariah Jnr, Frank Edoho, Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot, Olu Jacobs, Jumobi Adegbesan now Mofe –Damijo, Shiek Karamotor, Kwasi Kyei Darwkah, Yves Zogbo, etc.
The Delta State-born fashion entrepreneur is also one of Nigeria’s biggest collector of vintage cars.
Mudi recently added a Volkswagen Beetle convertible to his collection of vintage cars.

MUDI And His Vintage Car Collection
Mudi’s array of vintage cars include a 1957 model Mercedes Benz, a 1971 model 504 L Peugeot. He purchased the two cars from Germany and France respectively.
According to Mudi, “vintages cars reminds him of the good old days of my country”.
“I think it is a part of history; heritage! Let me put it that way.
“They remind me of the good olden days and the kind of simplicity that was applicable to life then” he said.
