Nissan For The First Time In Awhile Recorded Excellent Sales In Europe

In fiscal year 2024 (which ended March 31, 2025, for Nissan), the Japanese manufacturer recorded 378,900 vehicle sales in Europe. Among the highlights was record sales of the Juke, Nissan’s urban crossover, with 104,000 units, the most since the bold SUV was launched back in 2010. Nissan also recorded best-ever sales for the Ariya all-electric crossover with 20,600 units.
As expected, the Nissan Qashqai remained the brand’s best-selling model in Europe during the year, with 166,800 units sold
As European buyers continue to choose electrified options, 45% of total sales were electrified vehicles, ahead of the launch of two new all-electric vehicles this year: the new Nissan Micra and the long-awaited new Nissan Leaf, as well as the next generation of e-POWER technology, a unique electrified powertrain.
Mayra González, vice president of marketing and sales in Europe, commented on this success: “Nissan strives to offer the most exciting range of electrified crossover vehicles to our customers in Europe, and we are delighted that customers are joining us on our journey.”
Of course, González also touched on electric models. “With the fully electric Ariya already well-established in Europe, we are extremely excited to launch the new electric Micra and Leaf models next year. Additionally, the hybrid and e-POWER options available on the Qashqai, Juke, and X-Trail will continue to support customers as we move forward together towards full electrification.”
