Photos: Another Container truck falls at Ijora Olopa, Lagos.

The rate at which container trucks now fall in Lagos State has become alarming as a 40ft container loaded with stationaries fell at Ijora Olopa, Lagos yesterday. According to Lagos State Emergency Agency, investigation at the scene revealed that the cause of the accident was due to reckless driving by the container truck driver as he was trying to make a fast U turn.
LASEMA‘s Emergency response team and LASTMA officials have been able to evacuate the container off the road and no one was injured.

Something should be done to monitor and penalise these truck drivers. It’s getting too much. Thank God no life was lost.
