Photos : Massive flood from a year’s and half worth of rainfall drowns thousands of cars in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Many blamed Tuesday’s record downpour in the United Arab Emirates on the recent cloud seeding operations.

Many parts of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were submerged in flood waters on Tuesday April 16th after experiencing its largest rainfall event since records began 75 years ago.
The heavy downpour, which began late on Monday, dumped more than a year and a half worth of rain in just a few hours, leaving several people stranded in airport, homes and malls, for many hours.
Some areas recorded more than 250 mm (around 10 inches) of precipitation in less than 24 hours, the state’s media office said in a statement on its X page on Wednesday.
“The National Center of Meteorology announced that the UAE witnessed the largest amounts of rainfall during the past 75 years, and that the “Khatm al-Shakla” area in Al Ain witnessed 254.8 mm of precipitation in less than
24 hours.”
Photos posted to social media pages showed dozens of submerged vehicles on flooded Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai as well as long traffic jams on several highways.
In photos shared, somes of the six-figure ultra-luxury cars seen drowned or floating in flood water includes Rolls-Royce Cullinans, Range Rovers, Rolls-Royce Continental GTs as well as models from Aston Martin, BMW and Nissan.
Many blamed Tuesday’s record downpour and floodings on the recent cloud seeding operations (weather modification), which the UAE frequently conducts to increase rainfall.
