Today’s Photos : Upcoming Mercedes-Maybach S580e Plug-in Hybrid sedan looks impressive from every angle.

The upcoming Mercedes-Maybach S580e sedan will arrived as the German marque’s luxury sub-brand’s first-ever plug-in hybrid model, allowing an emission-free driving of up to 62 miles in an all-electric mode.
The Mercedes-Maybach S580e sedan combines an inline-six smoothness with electric muscle and packs a Maybach luxury inside. Just like the Maybach S 580 4Matic, the petrol-powered variant it is based on, the S580e looks impressive when viewed from the front, side and rear.

“With our first plug-in hybrid model, we are combining the luxury experience typical of Maybach with emission-free local driving when in electric driving mode.
“The Mercedes‑Maybach S 580 e represents a pivotal step in the transformation of our heritage brand into an electric future. We will present our first fully electric model as early as 2023,” said Daniel Lescow, Head of Mercedes‑Maybach at Mercedes‑Benz Group AG.

At the heart of the Maybach S 580 e is a 3.0-liter inline-six engine and an electric motor, both combining to give a total output of 510-horsepower and 553 ft lbs of torque.
The Mercedes-Maybach ultra-luxury sedan will be able to sprint from zero to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.
