Porsche Taycan Becomes The First Car To Come With Built-in Apple Music App

Taycan, the first all-electric car from German automaker, Porsche, will be the first production car to come with built-in Apple Music app. This means that Taycan buyers will not need to pair their iPhone with the car’s infotainment system to stream their favorite tunes.

From the touchscreen display in the Porsche Taycan Advanced Cockpit, Apple Music subscribers, with their $10 a month or $120 per year subscription, will be able to stream over 50 million songs ad-free. They will also have access to thousands of curated playlists and the Beats 1 global livestream.

In addition, the upcoming Taycan will also come with three years of complimentary in-car internet data, including an external antenna and roaming package. New and existing Porsche owners will also get up to six months free use of Apple Music.

The all-electric Porsche Taycan will be unveiled in September 4 and launched on the market at the end of the year.

The all-wheel drive car, with two electric motors, that makes a total system output of over 600 PS (592 hp), can sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.5 seconds . Its 90 kWh lithium-ion battery will go 500+ km (310 miles) range on a full charge.
