Spy Photos Of The Refreshed Range Rover Evoque Caught At The Nürburgring

The Evoque adventure that started in 2008 with the Land Rover LRX Concept has already led to two generations of the smallest Range Rover ever: the Evoque. The first Evoque managed to expand the customer base nicely, although the bulk of that model’s popularity was not due to the three-door and Convertible, but to the more practical five-door. It is therefore not surprising that the current second-generation Evoque is only available as a five-door. The Range Rover Evoque has been running since the end of 2018, which means that the model is now about 4.5 years old. In Coventry, England, a renewed Evoque is in the development rooms to keep it up to date.

You don’t have to expect any major changes in terms of appearance. A new grille has been drawn behind the drawing boards and it looks like new bumpers with modified cooling slots have been devised. The prototype shot at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife has taillights with a new light signature. You can recognize the new interpretation of the rear lights by the LED strip running on the underside of the units. You can also count on the arrival of sharpened infotainment and finely ground safety systems. What awaits the Evoque on a technical level? That is still the question.

Land Rover recently improved the plug-in hybrid powertrains of the Range Rover Sport, so don’t be surprised if the plug-in versions of the Evoque are also being scrutinized and leave the development chambers with more power and perhaps a greater electric range.
