Vladimir Putin personally drove himself in his bulletproof Aurus Limo to test a section of a newly-built ring road in Moscow.
Putin’s Aurus L700 was designed and built by Central Research and Development Automobile Institute NAMI).
It is one of several homemade products after the Russian leader moved to reduce its dependence on foreign goods.
Russian President Vladimir personally drove himself in his bulletproof Aurus Limousine on Thursday while opening the final part of the Central Ring Road A113.
Putin was accompanied by his body guard, who took the rear seat, as well as chief specialist of the state company ‘Russian Highways’ Stanislava Kuznetsova, who shared the details of the highway with the Russian leader.

The Central Ring Road connects the main outbound highways and passes through the Moscow Region at the distance of nearly 50 kilometers from the Moscow Automobile Ring Road (MKAD).
But the talking point of the short opening ceremony was the Putin’s test-drive inside his presidential limousine dubbed the Russian Rolls-Royce.
Putin’s Aurus L700 was designed and built by Central Research and Development Automobile Institute NAMI) after the Russian leader moved to reduce its dependence on foreign goods.
Aurus L700 is covered in armour plating and runs on Kevlar tyres to keep it going when shot. The tank-like presidential state car is designed to keep Vladimir Putin and its occupants safe when fully submerged in water.
