Many airlines around the world boasts of amazing fleets of aircrafts in order to meet high passenger demands. Presently, United States of America is home to the majority of the continent’s largest airline groups by fleet size.

US’s American Airline currently has 956 aircrafts while its top four airlines has a combined fleets of over 2600 aircrafts . This is followed by China’s top three’s 1500+ aircrafts.





Ethiopia Airline’s fleet of 108 aircrafts is the largest in Africa while Arik Air’s fleet of 22 aircrafts is the largest in Nigeria.

It is the world’s largest airline when measured by fleet size and revenue.It flies to 350 destinations and operates a fleet of 956 aircraft that are manufactured by Airbus,Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and Embraer.

American Airlines, together with its regional partners ,operates a fleet of over 1,789 aircrafts.

2) United States’ Delta Air Lines

It flies to 325 destinations and operates a fleet of 876 aircraft manufactured by Airbus, Boeing, and McDonnell Douglas.

3) United States’ United Airlines

It flies to 342 destinations and operates a fleet of 763 aircraft, all Boeing and Airbus.

4) United States’ Southwest Airlines

It flies to 99 destinations and operates only Boeing 737 jetliner models.Its fleet of over 740 makes it the largest operator of the Boeing 737 worldwide, with each averaging six flights per day.

The national flag carrier airline of Turkey  flies to 304 destinations. It operates a fleet of 330 aircrafts from Airbus and Boeing .
