One-off floral-inspired BMW 7 Series becomes luxury hotel shuttle for “Ellerman House” in Cape Town, South Africa.
This unique luxury sedan combines luxurious driving experience with the high-quality elegance.

BMW has delivered a one-off floral-inspired 7-Series to the “Ellerman House” hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, where the new “airport shuttle” will be used to transport passengers from Cape Town’s airport to the luxury hotel.
Taking the flora of South Africa as its inspiration, the custom-made sedan, modified by BMW’s Individual Manufaktur division, is meant to become a collector’s item.

This unique version of the sedan is an artistic homage to the unique vegetation of the region around Cape Town. The luxury sedan combines luxurious driving experience with the high-quality elegance.
“Ellerman House” luxury hotel already houses the largest private art collection in South Africa. So to achieve this, BMW approached South African artist and botanical sculptor Nic Bladen. Bladen is famous for detailed bronze botanical sculptures.

Inside, Nic Bladen transformed the vehicle’s wood veneers into a modern library. He was able to integrate native plants cast in bronze into the trims of the BMW 7 Series sedan.
On the outside, the BMW 7 Series sedan for “Ellerman House” features an exclusive Brass hue plus an extended BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line. There is also an Ellerman House lettering on the door as well as a 20-inch M light alloy wheels.

Powering this special shuttle is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder plug-in hybrid powertrain that generates 394 horsepower.
Thanks to an electric range of 31 miles (51 kilometers), the plug-in hybrid luxury sedan can cover the 25 kilometre drive from Cape Town airport to the hotel with zero local emissions.
