Demand For Maybach, AMG, G-Class, Battery Electric Vehicles Lifted Mercedes Cars Sales In Q2 2023

102,600 BEV’s sold worldwide (+121%) in the first six months with fully electric vehicles accounting for 11% of overall sales.
Sales in the top-end segment – models such as AMG, Maybach – also rose by 12% in Q2 and 15% in first 6 months of 2023.
Sales in the Core segment with models like E-Class, CLE and EQE sedan were up 2% to 276,600 units in the second quarter.
Sales in the Entry segment also increased by 11% to 154,100 units in Q2 and even grew 19% in the first half of 2023.
The demand for battery electric vehicles (BEV) and top-end luxury cars lifted the sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars to 515,700 units (+6%) in the second quarter and to 1,019,200 units (+5%) in the first half of 2023.
In the first six months of 2023, Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars sold 102,600 BEV’s worldwide (+121%), with fully electric vehicles accounting for 11% of the overall sales during the period.
Sales in the top-end segment – which includes models such as Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach and G-Class – also rose by 12% to 84,800 units in Q2 and 15% to 176,600 vehicles in the first six months of 2023.

Mercedes-AMG increased global sales by 19% to 38,000 units in the second quarter, while demand for the iconic G-Class remains high, with sales increasing by 29% to 11,000 units in the second quarter.
The flagship Mercedes-Maybach model lifted Mercedes-Benz Cars global sales by 39% to 6,500 vehicles in Q2 while 10,900 units of the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV was sold in the first half of 2023.
Sales in the Core segment with cars like new GLC, E-Class, CLE, EQE sedan and its EQE SUV sibling were up 2% to 276,600 units in the second quarter, while sales in the Entry segment increased by 11% to 154,100 units in Q2 and even grew 19% in the first half of 2023.
