Japanese Turner Damd Turns A Honda WR-V Into A Jeep Cherokee XJ

Japanese tuner Damd is celebrated for its many retro-inspired projects based on modern vehicles, and it is gearing up for several showcases at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon. Among the highlights is the WR-V Reverb, essentially a Honda WR-V revamped to resemble a Jeep Cherokee XJ.
This model boasts a completely overhauled front end featuring a six-slot grille and rectangular headlights that pay tribute to the classic Cherokee design. The upgrades continue with side graphics that evoke the vintage wood panelling commonly seen on American station wagons.
In addition, the WR-V Reverb gets a new hood and a robust front bumper with unpainted plastic and faux aluminium accents. The look is completed by a set of black steel wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires.
As for the engine, there are no changes, so the power is provided by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC engine with 89 kW/121 hp, paired with a CVT.
