Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Black Badge Cullinan by Cyril Kongo, a collection of five exclusive Private Commissions featuring hand-painted interior artwork by world-renowned french painter and graffiti artist, Cyril Kongo.
Curated through the marque’s Private Offices in New York, Seoul and Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, each vehicle features a unique expression of Kongo’s interpretation of the universe that he calls ‘The Kongoverse’.

The exterior of these bespoke Commissions is finished in a rich Blue Crystal Over Black finish (deep black paint) with a first-of-its-kind Gradient Coachline that transitions from Red to Forge Yellow on the left side and Mandarin to Turchese on the right.
For this collaboration, 57 year old french painter worked alongside the brand’s Bespoke designers, engineers, and artisans at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood.

“When we came to co-create the motor cars, we set up dedicated workspaces within our Bespoke facilities, where Cyril and our specialists worked hand-in-hand, integrating his artistic language into each element,” Phil Fabre de la Grange, Head of Bespoke at Rolls-Royce.
Inside, each Cullinan features black-based cabin with four (4) vivid colour accents including Phoenix Red, Turchese, Forge Yellow, and Mandarin – all colors expressed through stitching, seat inserts and the ‘RR’ monograms on the headrests.

Additionally, each Black Badge Cullinan by Cyril Kongo features Kongo’s unique hand-painted details across the fascia, picnic tables, centre console and Waterfall between the rear seats.
But the highlight is the hand-painted Starlight Headliners, with each featuring various combinations of Blue, Phoenix Red, Forge Yellow, Cobalto Blue, Twickenham Green or Lime Green illuminations and eight Shooting Stars.

“When I first saw a Starlight Headliner, it inspired me straight away: they are a universe in motion, and truly immersive. I knew this feature would be my centrepiece,” said the artist.
The British luxury marque didn’t announce the pricing of each of these Black Badge Cullinan by Cyril Kongo cars, but it did reveal that all the five exclusive Private Commissions are already allocated to collectors worldwide.
