China Tests Self-driving Train Running On Virtual Tracks In Sub-zero Weather

China is testing its smart Self-driving Electric Train running on virtual tracks to see if it can run smoothly in Sub-zero weather.
Temperatures plunged to around -20℃ (-4℉) in northeast China’s Harbin testing site. The test checks if the smart train and the virtual tracks can run smoothly in freezing cold.
Beijing Airport Driverless Train That Can Travel With Speed Over 160 km/h Makes Its Debut (Photos)
The 307 passenger trackless train was first launched in May last year . It uses rubber wheels on a plastic core, has a top speed of 70 km an hour and will travel 25 kilometres after ten minutes of charging.
Trial operation of the train will commence very soon in other Southern cities of China.
