Anthony Joshua‘s custom-made ₦70m Range Rover SVAutobiography-Dynamic is still missing 11 months after it was stolen on September 6 from the home of his relative in London.

The bespoke Range Rover SUV was a gift from Jaguar Land Rover ahead of the British professional boxer‘s fight with Wladimir Klitschko.

Every detail of the Range Rover, which was also the first SUV in the world to feature the new SVO Design Pack, was chosen by Anthony Joshua. It is embossed with with his signatures on the driver’s headrest, B-Pillar, door sills, steering wheel, a badge and the door interiors.

It also comes with boxing-specific touches like boxing glove pattern door handles and a special sports equipment drawer in the boot where he can keep his title belts.

The tracker fitted SUV is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine and it will go from zero to 60mph in just 5.1 seconds.

Despite the amazing features of this tech-filled SUV, it took a well trained thief, who was caught on a CCTV, less than 23 seconds to steal it.

Police, who still can’t locate the bespoke SUV 11 months after, believe the thieves used a £100 keyless device, that  is readily available on eBay, to mimic the car fob. A computer is then used to start the engine.

Each car stolen can fetch about £5,000 after being dismantled and rebuilt with alternative pieces from other stolen cars to ensure the car is less identifiable.

In 2018, over 89 thousand cars were stolen in the UK, according to Government figures.

Anthony Joshua is currently preparing a rematch with Mexican-American boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr, after the former IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion was beaten for the first time in his career in June.

Joshua admits he’s unlikely to face Andy Ruiz Jr in Britain while his promoter, Eddie Hearn, said the venue and date of the bout were close to being finalised.
