Regardless which level of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs for human, driving gasoline-fueled vehicles remain expected in our modern century. Unfortunately, that goes along simultaneously with the health, dangers and risk that comes with it.
The danger of excess expose to benzene to cool off the heat (from outside temperature of avg. 27°C) with air-condition in cars, is like choosing the lesser of the two evil between exposure to Benzene and exposure to high heat.
Nonetheless, we can avoid been exposed to excessive benzene by keeping our car windows down while driving, or sitting in the car. This will help to minimize the damage done to the bone marrow, resulting in decreases in the number of circulating blood cell (Snyder, 2012).
