Governor Fayemi of Ekiti officially opens new dual carriageway linking Ado Ekiti with Iyin to traffic.

The linkage is expected to greatly improved the safety of residents’ travel and shortened the travel time.

The road project has the largest contract amount in the Ekiti State, according to CCECC.

It is also CCECC’s first completed project since it entered the Ekiti State market in 2019.

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 officially opened the new dual carriageway linking Ado Ekiti with Iyin to traffic.

The completion of the road project, which connects Ado city, the capital of Ekiti State, with Iyin town, is expected to greatly improved the safety of residents’ travel and shortened the travel time.

During the commissioning, Fayemi said the completed phase will “open our State capital to further expansion, reduce travelling time between the two towns, ease the stress of commuters, and enhance the marketability of our farm produce.”

Fayemi added :





“As a government, we understand and appreciate the importance of good road network to the socio-economic development of our dear state. We remain committed to working for our people to the very last day of our mandate.”

Accordingly to the Contractor, CCECC, the Ado-Iyin road project has the largest contract amount in the state. It is also the first to be completed by the Construction company since it entered the Ekiti State market in 2019.
