Lucid Air EV Joins Saudi Arabia Police Force, Features Drone Carrier On Its Roof
Lucid Air Electric Vehicle (EV) joins Saudi Police Patrol Fleet at the World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia.
Lucid Air with a siren and drone deployer on the roof was seen leading a fleet of police cars.
The two-tone Lucid Air police car with Police black and white livery is equipped with drone carrier on its roof.


Lucid Motors, in partnership with the Saudi government, has unveiled a new line of police cruisers based on the luxury Air electric sedan at the World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia, taking place from 4th to 8th February.
In a video posted to the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Interior on X (formerly Twitter), a Lucid Air kitted with a siren and drone deployer on its roof was seen leading a fleet of police cars.

The two-tone Lucid Air police car also differentiate itself with the Saudi Arabia Police black and white livery as well as the “Police” and “911” decals.


Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund had in 2018 signed an agreement to invest more than $1 billion with Lucid Motors, a California-based Electric Vehicle (EV) start-up.
Autojosh don’t know the variant equipped for Saudi Arabia police duties, but Air is available in four trim levels, including the standard, Touring, Grand Touring and the Dream Edition.


The standard model starts at $52,100 while the top-of-the-range four-wheel-drive Dream Edition starts at $161,500. Dream Edition, a 1080hp car comes with bespoke interior features and is capable of sprinting from 0-60mph in 2.5sec.
The Air is dubbed “the fastest-charging electric vehicle ever offered”, as all variants are claimed to be capable of recuperating 300 miles of range in just 20 minutes at a DC fast charger.
