The owner of a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo has been left shocked after desperate thieves ripped the headlights of their electric sports car, causing a five-digit damage during the brutal night-time theft.
Photos of the butchered Mamba Green Metallic electric wagon without its pricey matrix LED units were shared on Reddit by user No_Supermarket9751, who said the bizarre crime happened to his friend.

No_Supermarket9751’s post was captioned with : “R.I.P Taycan Turismo – brutal headlight theft – detailed re-upload of night-time headlight theft with tin snips in Düsseldorf, Germany.”
Speaking with Motor1, No_Supermarket9751 said that the incident happened over night in Düsseldorf, Germany, and that the thieves used a scissor-like tin snips to cut into the fenders to access and disconnect the lamps.

Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo’s headlights costs about $4,390 in the US, which translates to a total $8,780. It excludes the money for new fenders, which are over $631 each, as well as the money for repairs.
