President Buhari Rode In Mercedes G-Class During Defense Academy’s Passing Out Parade

President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday attended the Passing Out Parade ceremony at the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna State.

During the ceremony, President Buhari rode in a customized armoured Mercedes-Benz G-Class as he reviews the parade.

President Buhari on Saturday attended a combined Passing Out Parade, Commissioning and Oath Taking of 67 Regular Course and Short Service Course 46 at the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna State.

The president, who arrived at Kaduna International Airport at around 8 in the morning, was greeted on the tarmac by the state Governor, Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai.

Amid tight security, Buhari was later chauffeured in his official car to the venue of the passing out parade at the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna State.

During the well attended ceremony, President Buhari rode in a customized armoured Mercedes-Benz G-Class as he reviews the passing-out parade of the Nigerian Defence Academy NDA.

Speaking at the passing out parade, the President expressed full confidence in the ability of the Nigerian Army to protect the territorial integrity of the nation.

He assured that the Federal Government will increase manpower and improve training to meet the changing dynamics of security in the country.

“Despite our obvious differences, we must strive to ensure that our actions, and utterances are aimed towards strengthening our democratic framework.

“We must subsume our personal and sectional interests to the overall national aspirations of unity, economic prosperity and good governance.”
