VW Add Pro Business Trim Level To The ID.3, ID.4 And ID.5
The Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 enter the new year with a new version: the Pro Business.
Not only will various Volkswagens with combustion engines enter 2024 with a new version, but also the fully electric ID series. They are assigned the Pro Business version. The Volkswagen ID.3 (now from €39,990 as a Pro) is just above the entry-level version with a price of €41,990. In addition to the standard equipment, you get 18-inch alloys, metallic paint, IQ Light LED matrix lighting, and extra dark-tinted rear windows.
For the Volkswagen ID.4, it now starts at €44,990 for the 170-hp version with a 52-kWh battery. The Pro Business is well above that and only comes after the Pure Business and Pro, because that version is only available in combination with the 286-hp drivetrain and the 77-kWh battery pack. The ID.4 Pro Business costs at least €50,990 and has extras compared to the Pro, including metallic paint, 19-inch alloy wheels, IQ Light LED matrix lighting, automatic air conditioning, heated front seats and steering wheel, keyless access, Park Assist, and a reversing camera. The Volkswagen ID.5 is also available as a Pro Business for €54,990. The prices are fairly comparable to those of the Pro Business version that was introduced for the two EVs in early 2023, although the ID4 is now a bit cheaper and the ID.5 is a bit more expensive.
Finally, there is the ID.7. Volkswagen’s latest electric model will enter 2024 with a starting price of €61,490 for the Pro Business that already applied last year. That is the only option for the time being, and it has the same equipment as the ID.4 and ID.5 Pro Business, but as extras, for example, a head-up display and Park Assist Pro. Could it be a little less luxurious to save some on the purchase price? Then wait a little longer, because, as we reported in November, there will be another ID.7 Pro that brings the starting price down to €59,990.
