We rarely spot classic cars on Nigerian roads. However, Independence day is always an exception. This is the day classic car enthusiasts usually storm the street of Lagos to display our automotive heritage. The event which is tagged Independence Day Drive is a yearly event. The 2019 edition was held during the month of October, and Autojosh.com was there to show you some of the classic cars that featured at the event. The Peugeot 404 was the first passenger car to be assembled in Nigeria a few years after independence. It has been a grand vehicle and quite shocking to see one still driving after so many years.

11. 1981 Jaguar XJ
Nigerian actor and movie producer, Kunle Afolayan also featured his Jaguar XJ. It was still buttery smooth and glowing in all its classic glory. Its luxury is still remarkable.
