2021 Hyundai Creta – Be The First To See It (Details And Photos)

Published

on

Hyundai Motors is having a very busy 2020. From the successful launch of the Genesis GV80 SUV to the Sonata Hybrid (not our concern) and now the 2021 Creta. Well, we are familiar with the Creta as its a popular small SUV in Nigeria. We expect the model to drop in soon via Hyundai Motors Nigeria. For the record, it is also called ix25 in some countries. So let’s see what the 2021 Creta has to offer us…….

Design

The looks of the Hyundai Creta is distinctive and a little different from the rest of the Hyundai lineup. Its front is bold and it adopts an intricate split-headlamp arrangement and a fresh interpretation of the Korean firm’s signature cascading grille. Compared to the current model, the new Hyundai Creta 2021 is longer and wider with a slightly stretched wheelbase. The SUV’s new model underpins a new platform that is already used in the Kia Seltos. Hyundai will offer the new Creta with two seating layouts 5-seats and 7-seats.

What’s Inside

The new Hyundai Creta will use a totally new dashboard and will feature a 10.4-inch screen that is placed vertically. The infotainment system will also pair up with Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car app and telematics solution. The 2021 Creta will also get an eSIM or embedded sim card to access all data features including emergency responses. All the latest tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will also be standard with that touchscreen, along with a voice command enabled virtual assistant.

Engines

Different engine variants will be available from launch but we will probably be getting only one or two of them depending on what Hyundai Motors Nigeria offers. First is a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine and a 1.4 turbo GDI 4 cylinder (may or may not come to Nigeria). Information about the transmission is not certain but expect a 6/6 manual or automatic and a new 7-speed DCT gearbox.
