Man City Coach Pep Guardiola Has Damaged 4 Cars Worth ₦500m Since He Moved To England
Man City manager Pep Guardiola has managed to damage 4 cars, including a Mercedes GLE, Bentley GTX700, and a Range Rover, worth half a billion Naira, since his arrival in England.
Josep “Pep” Guardiola Sala, known simply as Pep Guardiola, is the current Manchester City boss. The 49-year-old former FC Barcelona boss is considered to be one of the greatest managers of all time.
He holds the record for the most consecutive league games won in La Liga, the Bundesliga and the Premier League.
But latest reports suggests some of his tactical abilities is missing in his driving skills. According to sources, Pep Guardiola has ruined cars worth more than ₦500m since he took over at the club.
The former Bayern Munich manager has managed to damage a Mini Cooper, a black Mercedes GLE, a customised silver Bentley Continental GTX700, and a Range Rover.
A source told theSUN:
“Pep is brilliant at many things but driving doesn’t appear to be one of them.
“He’s struggled with the roads in Manchester and had a couple of bumps.”
Lu Martin and Pol Ballus, who penned Pep’s City: The Making of a Superteam, wrote about his driving:
“Today he’s behind the wheel of his black Mercedes.
“He has a reputation from his Barcelona days of being a hapless driver and this is his fourth car he has owned since coming to Manchester.”
“His wing mirrors don’t survive for long and he’s also managed to fill a diesel Range Rover with petrol and mangle a silver Bentley.”
Despite owning a ridiculously gorgeous Bentley, Man City boss still drives a £28k electric Nissan Leaf to training. He is among 9 rich football stars who still drive cheap cars.
Second place Manchester City is currently 17 points behind table-topping Liverpool. The premier league champion welcomes Crystal Palace on Saturday January 18 for a late kick-off.
