Adejobi Street In Lagos To Be Closed For Railway Modernization Project

The Lagos State Government has announced that Adejobi Street, Agege will be partially closed. The closure begins today on Tuesday, 17th March 2020 till Thursday, 19th March 2020. The reason is for the laying of tracks along the level crossing as part of the ongoing railway modernization project.

According to a statement from the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, the route will be closed daily. The time will be from 6 p.m to 6 a.m the next day. Intending motorists should ply the Adejobi axis to go through Fagba to link Toyin and Ashade Underpass to access their desired destinations.

The release also advised all road users to comply with the traffic signals and also obey traffic management officers. This will ease the traffic situation and minimize the inconvenience likely to result from the construction work. And when the exercise is over, Adejobi Street will be reopened





While soliciting for the support and cooperation of all Lagosians during the Nigerian Railway Modernisation Project, the Lagos State Government reiterated its determination to provide a seamless multi-modal transport system that will meet the transportation needs of its large population.
