AddArmor, a Wyoming-based company known and respected for designing the world’s most sophisticated mobile safe-rooms, has unveiled its latest creation, an armored Aston Martin Vantage.

The armored Aston Martin Vantage features AddArmor’s B4 level of protection, which includes a composite-reinforced firewall and doors, bulletproof glass, a blast-resistant steel roof and fuel tank protector.

It also features a tamper-proof exhaust and an electric shock door handles that can be activated at the push of a button. There are also run-flat tyres that allows the car drive 80 kilometers after they get perforated by bullets.

AddArmor claims the modifications, which only added 450 lb (204 kg) to the weight of the vehicle, doesn’t sacrifice the Vantage’s performance “in the slightest”, thanks to its lightweight Kevlar in the armor.

The base an unarmoured Vantage is powered by a AMG-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which makes 503-horsepower and 505 lb-ft (685 Nm) of torque, and allows an impressive acceleration of 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and a speed of up to 195 mph.

AddArmor’s anti-intrusion protection package is available on any vehicle. It starts at $32,500, excluding the donor car.

AddArmor, had in the past, launched armoured 202 mph APR RS 7, Hennessey VelociRaptor and a Ferrari 458 Special, dubbed the “world’s fastest bulletproof car”.
