Few weeks after the premiere of the all-new CLA, Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-new CLA Shooting Brake with EQ Technology — its first-ever fully electric Coupe-style Station Wagon and the second model of the completely new CLA family.
On the outside, the electric CLA sets itself apart from the CLA family with a sporty shark-nose design and a unique front panel with 142 individually illuminated chrome-look LED stars and rear lights with star-shaped design.

Two models equipped with lithium-ion battery will be available when it launches in European market in March 2026. The entry-level is the 268-horsepower CLA 250+ Shooting Brake with EQ Technology with a range of up to 761 kilometres (473 miles).
The second variant is the 349-hp CLA 350 4MATIC Shooting Brake with EQ Technology – which is the performance version with two motors and all-wheel drive and a range of up to 730 kilometres (454 miles).

When plugged into a DC fast charging station (with up to 320 kW), the CLA 250+ Shooting Brake’s battery pack can gain up to 310 kilometres (193 miles) electric range in just 10 minutes.
The CLA 250+ Shooting Brake can accelerate to 62 mph from rest in 6.8 seconds while the more powerful all-wheel drive CLA 350 4MATIC Shooting Brake will do this in 5.0 seconds.

Some of the highlights inside is the large panoramic roof that is connected to the ambient lighting, offering an illuminated starry sky, and an optional MBUX Superscreen, that extends across the entire width of the interior.
The Superscreen consists of a 10.25-inch screen for the driver, a 14-inch central display and a separate 14-inch screen that is optionally available for the front passenger for individual entertainment.

Storage includes an illuminated frunk under the front bonnet which can hold 101 litres, while the boot has a volume of 455 to 1,290 litres. In addition, the CLA come standard with roof rails which allows surfboards or bicycles to fit easily on the roof.
“The new CLA Shooting Brake is designed for those who appreciate the dynamism of a sporty vehicle but don’t want to compromise on space and practicality in everyday life,” said Mathias Geisen, who heads the Marketing & Sales department for Mercedes Group.
