Bugatti-Style Kosmera Star Matrix is a 2,040-hp Chinese-built hypercar that promises 0-60 mph in 1.7 secs.

Kosmera’s flagship Star Matrix and its sibling, Star Razer, debuted at the CES 2026 in Las Vegas.

The flagship Kosmera Star Matrix and the Kosmera Star Razer are engineered in Germany and built in China.

While pricing has not been announced, both models are scheduled to go on sale in China and Europe in 2028.

Earlier in the year, Kosmera, owned by Chinese electronics manufacturer, Dreame, debuted two new high-performance electric hypercar prototypes at the CES 2026 in Las Vegas, with aerodynamic bodyworks similar to those from established brands.

On display at the event are the static prototypes of Star Razer and Star Matrix powered by four permanent magnet synchronous motors, which allows the 2,040 horsepower supercars to achieve 0-60 mph in 1.7 seconds, putting them in hypercar territory.

Kosmera says that the Star Razer is optimized for a road driving experience while the Star Matrix focuses on AI and AR-based driving intelligence.

“AI becomes your real-time driving coach — constantly reading the road, the vehicle, and you. With AR projecting key insights directly into your field of vision, intelligence is no longer hidden,” said Kosmera.

For an untrained eye, the four-door Kosmera Star Matrix super-Coupé passes for a two-seater model from Bugatti (especially the Chiron-based Divo) with its horseshoe-style grille and front lights.
