Nigerian automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited, has taken to its twitter page to reply its critics that: “Rome Was Not Built In A Day”.

In some of the tweets posted by the automaker, Innoson believes it will one day make cars that will rival models from well established companies like Volkswagen and Mercedes:

“Rome was not built in a day and the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. Innoson Vehicles will continue to grow steadily, closing the gap little by little, improving on its vehicles and services till it becomes one of the greatest exports from Nigeria”

“Any careful observer that has been monitoring Innoson Vehicles from the very inception will observe that there has been a tremendous improvement.”

“This is because IVM is using the concept of regionalization in the production of its vehicles by making sure that it considers the local taste and consumer preferences of the African region during production.”

The reply was obviously directed to Daddy Freeze and Tunde Ednut, who had earlier attacked Innoson at the exorbitant price and shape of the IVM G40.

Recall that controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze, had earlier questioned the prize of the SUV given to 2019 BBN winner, Mercy.

He asked:
“How a locally made SUV be priced that high? I would say 7 million or 10 million, at the most 15 million but N25M”

Daddy Freeze isn’t the one that has faulted the Nigerian automaker on its IVM G40 SUV. Entertainer, Tunde Ednut, also mocked the shape of the vehicle given to BBNaija season 4 winner, Mercy.

Tunde said:

“See the car they are giving to Lambo after all the money they made. Not even GWagon or Range. BBN Don buy NEPA motor for our Lambo. Dis one na made in 51 Iweka road onitsha.”
