Anambra FRSC PRO, Fifteen Other Officers Promoted To New Ranks

Anambra Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) PRO, fifteen other officers promoted to new ranks.
The officers were promoted after undergoing a successfully procedural steps for promotions, according to FRSC Board.
The officers, who had successfully undergone the procedural steps for promotions, were deemed fit for their new ranks courtesy of the FRSC Board.
One officer was promoted from Deputy Corps Commander to Corps Commander, three from Assistant Corps Commander to Deputy Corps Commander, another three officers were promoted from Route Commander to Superintendent Route Commander, while nine officers were promoted from Deputy Route Commander to Route Commander.
In his speech, the Anambra State Sector Commander of FRSC, Mr. Adeoye Irelewuyi, said that the promotion should push the officers to do more in their respective duties areas, while those who were yet to be promoted must also work hard to earn a high place.
Speaking shortly before decorating the promoted officers, the Zonal Commanding Officer of FRSC Zone Five Headquarters, Mr. Andrew Kumapayi, said that FRSC promotions are not welfare packages but rewards for hard work, commitment, and discipline, but urged the decorated officers not to rest on their present elevation.
Mr. Kumapayi also commended the FRSC Board, for deeming the promotion timely, noting that the zone has, for the first time, had the largest number of promoted officers.
Some of the promoted officers, including Mr. Etuile Oko, who was promoted from the rank of Deputy Corps Commander to Corps Commander, Mrs. Nwafor-Obasi, promoted from Assistant Corps Commander to Deputy Corps Commander, and the Command’s Public Relations Officers, Margret Onabe, promoted from Deputy Route Commander to Route Commander, said that the new ranks called for more diligence and that they would keep giving their best to quality service.
Representatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Anambra State Command, as well families and friends of the newly-promoted officers were at the event.
