First 1,000 Units Of New Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Sold Out In Just 30 Minutes In Germany
First 1,000 units of the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 (Prado) sold out in just 30 minutes in Germany.
3 versions of the Land Cruiser 250 will be available in Germany, including the Executive, Tec, and the First Edition model.
Of the planned 5,000 examples of the Land Cruiser First Edition, 3,000 units will be available to customers in Europe.
In addition, the new LC 250 will be available in international markets as the Land Cruiser Prado, including Australia and Africa.
The initial 1,000 examples of the all-new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 250 (known here in Nigeria as Prado) allocated to Germany sold out just 30 minutes after reservations opened at 8 a.m. on December 21.
But Toyota Germany has since opened a new portal where interested German customers can get on a waiting list if one of the reservation spots opens up.
First unveiled last August, three versions of the retro-styled 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 250 will be available in Germany, including the Executive, Tec, and the highly desirable First Edition model.
Toyota has previously confirmed that 3,000 units (of the planned 5,000 examples) of the Land Cruiser First Edition will be available to customers in Europe. In addition, the new LC 250 will be available in international markets as the Land Cruiser Prado, including Australia and Africa.
Though, it shares the TNGA-F platform with the latest-gen LC 300 Series that arrived in 2021, the new 2024 Land Cruiser 250 is the less expensive Prado version with shorter Wheelbase and smaller engine.
The latest generation of the all-conquering SUV was named the Design of the Year in the 2023 Topgear.com Awards in November, its first major honour just few months after public debut.
