LASG Selects CCECC-CRCCIG Preferred Bidder For 37-km Fourth Mainland Bridge Project

The Lagos State Government has announced Messrs CCECC-CRCCIG consortium as the preferred bidder for the proposed 37-km Fourth Mainland Bridge project.

While CCECC-CRCCIG emerged as the preferred bidder for the Fourth Mainland Bridge Project, it stated that Messrs. MOTA-ENGIL (NIGERIA & AFRICA), CCCC & CRBC CONSORTIUM are the reserved bidder.





When completed, the Fourth Mainland Bridge would become the second longest in Africa with three toll plazas, nine interchanges, a 4.5km Lagoon Bridge and an eco-friendly environment.

Nigerian Tuner Khaz Customs Upgrades Armored Toyota Land Cruiser

Nigerian specialist tuning company, Khaz Customs, shows off its latest head-turning masterpiece, an armored 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser that it upgraded from a 2010 model SUV.

The heavily modified off-roader is now equipped with a 2018 conversion body kits, which includes a new Grille, Front/Rear bumper, new front Headlights and rear Taillights as well as LED fog lamps.

Other upgrades includes a Bespoke upholstery, likely a Leather and Alcantara interior, a massive 13.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a steering wheel upgrade to a 2018 Model.

Buhari Appoints Dauda Biu As New Corps Marshal Of FRSC

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu as new Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).





Until his appointment, Dauda Ali Biu was the Acting Corps Marshal of the Commission, a position he held since July, 2022.

Biu replaces Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi who retired from FRSC, after spending 34 years in service and serving two term as Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of Federal Road Safety Corps (Nigeria).

Electrocution : Don’t Cross Electrified Blue Line Rail Tracks, LASG Warns

The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has again warn Lagosians against crossing the Lagos Blue Line railway tracks as the railroads will be powered by ‘Electricity’.

When operation begins early next year, the high-speed, self-propelled Electric Multiple Units (trains) for the Lagos Blue Line Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) will be propelled by electricity passing through the road tracks.

Instead of crossing the Lagos Blue Line electrified rail tracks, LAMATA urged pedestrians to use footbridges that will take them into the train station, the bus station as well as to cross the expressway.
